Living with the pain of abortion can be overwhelming. Feelings of anxiety, panic, grief, guilt and shame can often seem insurmountable, but there is a way out of the pain. You do not have to suffer alone!
Countless women and men have experienced these feelings and reached healing through Lumina’s services. Over the past seven years we have also expanded our services to include outreach to the siblings of aborted babies.
The devastation to unborn children from abortion is obvious, but, with close to 60 million abortions in our country, we have also come to recognize the pain and grief of their living siblings.
These siblings need to be allowed to express their feelings without reserve. It is only in working out their feeling and walking through their own pain, that they will be able to free themselves from the guilt, anger, and confusion they are often experiencing.
With the same Mercy that frees the mothers and fathers, living siblings can learn that they have always been wanted and loved, and that they have an advocate in heaven who desires their peace. And, most of all, that we have a loving, merciful God who heals us.
Please help us to spread the word about the next Entering Canaan Day of Prayer & Healing, October 21, 2017 with spiritual director, Fr. Fidelas Moscinski, C.F.R. The day will include a witness, talk, adoration, reconciliation, and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
